This is a unique trip in northern Norway that will have you reminiscing for years to come.
Get a taste of the strength, energy and passion that the dogs have for running as you ride through the wooded trails witnessing the spectacular northern lights dancing in the skies.
Dog sledding on wheels is special and fascinating in its own wonderful way. Our four wheeled buggies are especially designed for husky training without snow. Each buggy has space for two participants, one driving and one sitting, and is drawn by loving and hard-working Alaskan huskies.

Your knowledgeable guide Tore Albrigtsen has, for more than 35 years, successfully participated in numerous long distance sled dog races. At this date, the bona fide wilderness guide is the only Scandinavian musher to have competed in the two world’s longest sled dog races in the same year, known as The Yukon Quest 1000 Mile International Sled Dog Race (1600 km) and The Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race (1850 km).
Our trip starts at Radisson Blu Hotel in Tromsø. After a short 30 minutes drive to our training base in a mystical forest, you will meet your guide and a team of energetic dogs.
Get dressed for the adventure, followed by a safety briefing and instructions on how to operate the buggy. Ride into the wilderness with your team of faithful huskies while you enjoy the stunning Arctic scenery. A few stops to cool the dogs off will give you quality time to interact with your team. After the ride, help us unhook the team, water and thank them with treats and a cuddle.
Sit around the light of a warm camp fire with a hot beverage and cookies and listen to your musher tell stories as you marvel the starry skies in search for the elusive aurora borealis. With luck you may view the phenomenon during your stay.
